Welcome to my website.

I’m a rural textile artist using the hand tufting technique to create wool pile heirloom quality artful furnishings. My work bridges visual art and applied art so although I make rugs and wool pile upholster hardwood stools with fully functional end use in mind, many people choose to decorate their home and walls for the visual and acoustic qualities a textile brings to a room. I also make to commission when requested and hold workshops.

I live and work in the Artists Town of Kirkcudbright within The Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere and hold the GSAB Certification Mark for sourcing my materials as locally and sustainably as possible. My studio is with WASPS; Workshop and Artists Studio Provision Scotland.
